Miriam and David. Out in the country at the family home to be.
Last Thanksgiving weekend, I caught up with Timi and Manesh for their engagement session. This lovely couple are getting married next June in Houston.
Shot over two days, I enjoyed very much getting to know them. See a few favorites, most of which were captured with the phenomenal Leica M (Type 240). All images captured in and around downtown Houston, the Nouveau Antique Wine Bar, a parking lot and a Ferris Wheel.

A few favorite clicks from Adriana and Carlos’s wedding. Adriana and Carlos are from Houston and one of the loveliest easiest couples to work with. Even the robot dancing was cool. You know who you are!! Weather was almost spring like and probably the last warm weekend we will enjoy before March.
Last weekends wedding at Travis Park United Methodist was just across the road from the reception’s The St.Anthony Hotel. A very emotional night and a wonderful mixture of Latino folks from here, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Cuba. Wedding Planners: Events by Reese. Band: Latin Connection. Hair and Make Up: Stephanie Rivas.

Logan and Percy’s intimate wedding last weekend at Paniolo Ranch. Many thanks to Elizabeth Giguere, owner of Madame Makeup who was so kind to refer me to Logan. She is an amazing person and thankfully we hit it off.
This was my first time shooting at Paniolo Ranch. It’s a gorgeous venue and if you’re planning a hill country wedding this should be on your shortlist. You can even stay here for bed and breakfast. Pretty cool.
The weather was cool and cast a lovely light. Often we may not shoot any bridal sessions prior to a wedding so I’ll always try and squeeze a few in on the day. Even though my approach and philosophy is to be unobtrusive throughout the day, I know the importance.
Below are a few of my favorites of this very good looking couple. Thanks for the trust and leave your comments below.
Karen and Cesar’s wedding was probably one of most unique weddings I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. The ceremony was at one of the most beautiful and ornate churches in San Antonio, Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Karen and Cesar are amazing individuals and I very much enjoyed meeting their friends and family. That was a crazy ‘Day of the dead‘ celebration!
Reception at Beethoven Maennerchor Halle. Along with most of San Antonio’s residents, I’ve spent many a few beers here around Octoberfest. Magnificent. Thanks again go out to Christian Margain, second shooter on the day.

A couple of weekends ago, Kim and Dan’s wedding was at the beautiful San Fernando Cathedral. This very emotional wedding was a delight to photograph. Every wedding is always unique and a challenge for me to capture.
One of the many reasons why I shoot weddings and nothing else is reflected in this wedding. I had such beautiful light to work and love this time of year when the sun is lower in the sky. The reception was at the Lonesome Dove, part of the San Antonio downtown convention center.
Before the ceremony started, we also had two ‘first looks’. One with Kim’s son Kaleb and then with the groom, Dan. An amazing couple and we wish them many congratulations. The honeymoon was a surprise destination to Kim so I’m itching to find out where they went!
Below are a few favorite images all shot with a Leica M9, Nikon D3 and D4. Leave your comments and likes below. Thanks!
Lisa and Jorge’s wedding at the gorgeous Incarnate Word Chapel in San Antonio.. This was an emotional wedding, full of warmth and lovely people. Lisa was so sweet and nervous. Wonderful to see and to capture the authenticity of their day.
Thanks to Christian Margain along for the ride as second shooter. A few of my favorite shots below, captured with a Nikon D4, D3, a Leica M9 and cron 50mm lens.
