Can you believe it’s 2010 and we’re already half way through January. I’ve been busy the last two weeks getting over colds and the flu and feeling the fatigue of our two little ones. The joy of a new born is just, well, fantastic of course, but exhausting! My wife and I are slowly been getting back into the rhythm of a new year, catching up our work, emails, editing, shooting and including a new website which went live this morning.
Marcie and I both wish you all a very happy new year and if you’re getting married, I’d like to wish you the best of luck as you plan your special day. One of the best sources here in San Antonio is San Antonio Weddings.

It’s just fantastic to hear feedback from past brides and here’s the comments I received yesterday. It’s always humbling and it just pushes me to continually improve my craft. Noelle and Eric tied the knot on October 24, 2009. Thanks Noelle!
“Philip did an absolutely beautiful job with our engagement and wedding photos. It was difficult to choose what pictures we wanted for our album because he got so many fantastic shots. We barely noticed him the entire night and we were blown away by the pictures he got. Yesterday, I arrived in downtown Houston to shoot Sarah and Andrew’s engagement session. This was a seriously fun shoot, as you can see from the pictures below. Sarah and Andrew are tying the knot February 13, 2010 and I’m really looking forward to photographing their special day.

The lovely Ashley and Chris tied the knot last Saturday at The Church of the Incarnate Word followed with their reception at The Witte Museum.
I just love this time of the year when the sun is lower in the sky and casts it’s lovely shadows and light. Their wedding was just gorgeous and fun to shoot. See below a few of my personal favorites.
