Vanessa and Todd’s Engagement Session

Vanessa and Todd are a lovely couple and I’m looking forward to their wedding November 8. Their session was captured at the beautiful Botanical Gardens here in San Antonio. I just love the cooler weather this time of year, too!

Sierra & John Marry, Saturday September 20, 2008

Alright. I love this couple. Sierra and John married in Austin and the reception was just down the road at the Austin Country Club.

You know I’ve mentioned it a few times how I love my job. What I really love are the little nuances that happen throughout the day and capturing those intimate moments.

My favorites are below, especially Mr.Steiger, Sierra’s father finding some quiet time in the study just before he took her hand down to the lily pond. And then there’s the car ride from the ceremony to the reception. Hair flying backwards and in your face trundling along at a hefty 20 mph as the bride and groom sit high up on the back seats. That was fun.

A few personal highlights below.

Our Holiday in England & Wales

Now we’ve had a chance to catch our breath, caught up on some emails and taken a seat, I’m delighted to share a few pictures from our trip.

The first four images were captured in Bosham along the south coast very close to where I was born, namely Chichester. This is the place I’d love to retire. Erm, you need around a couple of million to do so. I’ll just have my little shack on the sand there and probably just get washed away with the tide.

That’s my wife Marcie being silly. That’s why I married her.

Our little one playing on a golf course in Southampton.

Love this one. Just look at Lily’s face. Our first visit with grandma, who’s just turned 90. Lily was getting cranky before her nap. Just like her father. Aaaah. Oh, and that other good looking guy is my dad.

Love her tee shirt. “Made in the USA with British parts”. We cracked up and had to buy this one.

Love this photo-and taken with my little Canon compact.

Finally, this shot is of Chichester Cathedral, the place I spent my entire youth. Well, not in the cathedral. That would be a little bit sad. Just outside it.

Email Server Interruptions

Hi everyone,

Just FYI- We’re gearing up for the new website to go live in 24-48 hours, so the normal office email info@philipphotography.com may not work and should not be used until we’ve completed the change over to another server.

Please copy and paste this email philiphotog@gmail.com for any questions or inquiries you may have.

Thanks,

New website going live next week

After two years, it’s time to upgrade our website. We’re very excited to be releasing the new one later next week and I’m looking forward to receiving your feedback.

It will be just as easy to navigate and find information but even more intuitive and modern.

Once it’s released, we’ll announce it here.

Cheers,
Philip
