I really enjoyed shooting their day and who knew you could fit that many folks in one room:-)   Amazingly, Maria held her poise and looked so beautiful in her elegant dress. Ceremony and reception was at La Orilla Del Rio Ballroom downtown San Antonio.   I love how there are subtle changes in the quality of the light now as the end of summer nears.  100 degrees felt pretty cool compared to how it was just a few weeks ago, too.

See below a few of my favorites shot with the splendid Leica M9 and a 35mm f1.4 Summilux and the really wide angle shots at the end of this series were shot on a Nikon D3 and a 14-24 f2.8.

Feel free to leave your comments below. Which one is your favorite?

Colin Woods - Great shots Philip. You have certainly mastered the reportage style of photography.

Maria - These are amazing Philip, once again, thank you! Too many to list that I absolutely love, but a a few that stand out as my favorites include the shot of my mom playing with Dean’s feet on the bed because he seemed so peaceful despite all the craziness going on around him, so you really captured a special moment 🙂 Also, the shot of Summer and Rowen, our two beautiful flower girls. Billy’s huge grin when I walked out onto the balcony. Billy high-fiving his little brother when we made our grand entrance. Our first dance. Billy with his adorable little cousin, Landry. And Rowen catching the bouquet. LOL, ok I guess I loved them all!!

Karen Clark - Philip, you did an amazing job capturing so many wonderful memories of my son Billy & daughter Maria’s special day! I love how you found so many different expressions of everyone that was there. It takes someone special to be able to capture shots like you did. Thanks for doing such a magnificant job! These pictures will be cherished forever!
